AIRAM P-Series Press

AIRAM has expanded its pneumatic press technology with its P-Series model, a pneumatic press especially designed to support progressive stamping operations. Patented technology delivers higher speeds while the specially designed base promotes shock and vibration dampening. The P-Series is available in straightside models, 7 to 200 tons.

Especially suited to progressive die applications for the automotive, appliance and hardware industries, the AIRAM P-Series' small footprint makes installation easy. With few moving parts, maintenance is minimal and only a small amount of lubrication required.

The AIRAM Difference:

  • Long length precision guiding provides the capability to run progressive dies while minimizing the effects caused by off-center loading for more accurate parts
  • A patented process delivers higher speeds
  • Stroke length is adjustable in increments as small as .004
  • A jog control allows operators to “inch” the ram during setup
  • Programmable flow controls are available for remote Ram speed adjustment during setup and operation
  • Since the press ram can dwell on the top or bottom of the stroke, manufacturers can match or exceed the press speeds for a production line or stamping job, to achieve greater productivity
  • Press bases with machined pads support auxiliary equipment, give easy access for part and scrap removal and minimize shock and vibration
